AAA

The AAA League is for kids league ages 7-8 and in second grade, or third graders league age 8 who played in Farm League the prior year.

AAA League is a league of “firsts” for players coming up through the Randolph Baseball Program. This is the year that players will begin pitching. They start the season pitching closer to the plate, and by the end of the year, they gain enough strength and confidence to throw from the mound. Coaches will also pitch to players as well and help the pitchers get through batters and innings.

Batters will get the chance to hit off “live” pitching from other kids in the AAA League.

AAA is also the first time in a player’s Little League career where there will be official scores, standings, and playoffs. All teams will make the playoffs and be able to compete for the AAA Championship.

Ballplayers will continue to improve their fundamental skills and AAA will prepare them to play the following year in the Minors Division. The main focus in AAA for coaches and players is baserunning, defensive knowledge of fielding situations, and overall comfort level at bat and on the field while having fun and playing competitively.
